In my opinion both the books and movies are amazing in their own way. But hey this for the audience so lets get into it!




Books:
7 reasons why the books are better

  • We don't get to here all Harry's thoughts in the movies: There are multiple times in the books that hearing Harry's thoughts help us imagine what is going on. 
  • The Books are funnier: Many people might argue with this point, but the books do have a there humorous areas and parts. 
  • Characters are changed: A great example of this is Ginny. Book Ginny was an amazingly brave character however movie Ginny only focuses on loving Harry
  • Characters are left out of the movie: Peeves the Poltergeist is a character that makes a big change major plot lines in the book but Peeves is never mentioned even once in the movies
  • The Books have a chiastic structure: The plot line of the books have a symmetric feature but when it was converted into the movie things were lost
  • The movies eliminate information: Harry mending his wand with the elder wand, or Wormtail's hand turning on him, or even Rita Skeeter as a beetle. The books have a much richer world because of all this extra information
  • The books explain everything:
